Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 9, 2026
1. The Short Version (Plain Language Summary)
We know you're busy, so here's the bottom line. This isn't a substitute for the full policy, but it covers the essentials.
- Built for the Trades: We only collect what we need to turn your missed calls into jobs.
- SMS is Secure: We capture phone numbers only when someone calls you or opts in via your website.
- No Data Selling or Sharing: We do not sell your data. We never share your mobile information or SMS consent data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
- The Handshake: Our system uses a double opt-in handshake. No one receives a service menu unless they call you and then reply YES to our permission request.
2. Introduction
Welcome to Reclaimr. This Privacy Policy explains how Reclaimr Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you visit https://reclaimr.co and use our missed-call recovery services. By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
3. Information We Collect
We only collect information only to provide the Reclaimr service.
- Account Data: Name, email, and business details
- Payment Data: Processed securely via Stripe (we do not store card numbers).
- Customer Interaction Data: The phone numbers of individuals who call your business, and the content of the SMS handshake and subsequent service messages.
- SMS Opt-In Data: We collect the timestamp and YES confirmation for every consumer who opts into receiving texts via our IVR/SMS handshake process.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain technical information using cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies - including your IP address, browser type, and interactions with our site. We use this information to improve our website and operate our Service. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
4. SMS Communication & Opt-In Flow
Reclaimr facilitates conversational customer support between local businesses and their customers.
Opt-In Process
Consumers opt in by initiating an inbound phone call to a Reclaimr-connected business. If the call is unanswered, a verbal IVR greeting plays with the following disclosure:
"Thanks for calling [Business Name] via Reclaimr. We missed your call but want to help. A text message will follow - please reply YES to that text to receive our service menu, or simply stay on the line to leave a voicemail after the beep."
Following this audio disclosure, the consumer receives a permission-request text stating:
"Hi, this is [Business Name] powered by Reclaimr. We missed your call! Would you like us to text you our service menu so we can help you faster? Reply YES to opt-in or STOP to cancel."
A two-way conversational handshake is establised only when the consumer replies YES to this initial text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
A2P 10 DLC Compliance
All SMS messages sent through Reclaimr are delivered via registered A2P 10DLC phone numbers in compliance with The Campaign Registry (TCR) and CTIA guidelines. Opt-in is initiated by the consumer via inbound call, verbal IVR disclosure is provided before any text is sent, and a two-way SMS handshake confirms consent before any service messages are delivered.
Opt-Out
Consumers can opt out at any time by replying STOP. No further messages will be sent following an opt-out request.
Help
Consumers can reply HELP for more information or contact our support team directly.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We only share it with trusted service providers necessary to operate the service:
